Radimir Cacic, dipl. ing. arh
Radimir Cacic is an eminent Croatian businessman and politician who were proclaimed the most successful minister in the history of Croatia since its political independence (as a Minister of public works, reconstruction and development). For a long period of time he lectured at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and in the Croatian Business School formed in collaboration with the Harvard Business School.
As a member of several state bodies and commissions he was in charge of negotiations for canceling the war operations in Croatia and for withdrawal of the JNA troupes from Varazdin. Since 1995 he was a deputy in the Croatian Parliament, and since May 2005 he has been performing the duty of the Major of the Varazdin County. He is a remarkable initiator of many pilot-projects in Croatia concerning education and management.
